What science ideas did you learn?
-When you have a flame and a small hole in a piece of cardboard and the rays go through the hole no to the wall they appear upside down. The reason for this is that the rays can only enter at a certain direction because the hole is so small. It is like a film camera.
-Different surfaces have different levels of reflectiveness.
-The eye and the upside down flame have similarities.

How did you learn these ideas?
-by experimenting
-discussing in class

Why is it important to know this idea (What real world application is there)?
-it's important because then we can apply it to others things in the future, things we are going to learn
-we can apply it to the use of cameras with film and how it works

What science ideas did you learn?
-that light travels in rays
-there is a path that a light travels from a laser pointer and it is only visible, to us, when it hits visible objects, opaque objects will block a ray
-light goes from a light source in rays, bounces off an object, and then it reflects into our eyes

How did you learn these ideas?
-we did experiments to test our ideas on rays and light
-we also talked about it in class

Why is it important to know this idea (What real world application is there)?
-this idea is important to know this idea so we can apply it to other things in life
-when you rays coming from a light (i. e. sun) into the water where you can see the rays(different wavelenghts different color seaweed)
