What science ideas did you learn?

-average velocity

-average speed

-change in velocity

-motion diagram



How did you learn these ideas?

-discussing in class

-drawing graphs/tables

-learning to draw motion diagrams

-calculating averages




Why is it important to know this idea (What real world application is there)?

-It is important to know this idea so we can apply to other things we do in class and when we have to make up stories for homework and state testing.

-A real world example is when you are running the mile for gym and you want to find your average speed.
